Ken has been a valued employee of Companion Services of America since 2014. He is a veteran, and has been a companion assisting psychiatric clients achieve a better quality of life at the VA. He saved a patient’s life last month at the VA when he was choking on his food. He performed the “Heimlich” maneuver and unlogged the piece of food that he was choking on. He is a true champion!!!! Thank you for performing such a brave and selfless act!!!

Later, she went on to become the Director of Social Services at Belmont Community Hospital where she developed discharge planning procedures to assist staff in identifying potential patients requiring intervention.
