Happy Memorial Day!!!
Happy Memorial Day!!!
Memorial Day was first observed in 1868. The celebration honored the sacrifices of the civil war and the proclamation that was made by Gen. John A Logan. After the proclamation, all the participants decorated graves of 20,000 union and confederate soldiers. Since this time, Memorial Day has become a celebration of honor for those who died in all American wars, as well as all veterans who have served and currently serve in the us military. In 1971, Memorial Day was declared a national holiday.
Thanks to all our veterans who proudly have sacrificed and served our country!!
