We have used the services of Companion Services of America for six weeks now. Before I called them I was exhausted and stressed to the max. My husband was in such fragile condition. Since we made the call to CSA he is very well taken care of and has confidence and trust in his caregivers. Which gives me more time to manage the remainder of his care plan. His caregiver is gentle and experienced. He quickly gained my husband’s trust. He has also taught me a great deal about patience and compassion. The care manager was extremely helpful with locating the appropriate person to care for my husband.

Jamie Shapiro, founder of Companion Services of America, LLC received a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. Jamie started her career in psychiatric social work at Northwestern University Institute of Psychiatry. Later, she went on to become the Director of Social Services at Belmont Community Hospital where she developed discharge planning procedures to assist staff in identifying potential patients requiring intervention.
