Last week, Jamie and I sponsored a chair yoga class at Brentwood North in conjunction with Assured Healthcare Staffing. The senior residents really enjoyed participating in our activity so much so that we are returning later this month. We really enjoy serving our community and looking forward to more events in the future.

On Friday January 25th, Steve and I attended an open house for Easter Seals of Metropolitan Chicago at their school in Chicago.  The guest speaker was Colonel David Sutherland who spoke about his experiences in the military in Afghanistan and Iraq.  His stories were inspirational and leads everyone to desire to participate in community service. …

Yesterday afternoon, Lisa, Steve, and I hosted Bingo at the VA for our Happy Heroes. CSA hosted a pizza party and distributed prizes to the Bingo winners. At the end, everyone was a winner. Jamie and I spent Friday afternoon with the residents of Manor Care in Highland Park. I called Bingo, and Jamie played with the residents. There were lots of winners this time! We distributed many fun prizes and can’t wait to return to participate in other fun activities.
