Avanti Wellness & Rehabilitation, formerly know as Forest Villa Nursing Center held Business after Hours Event August 20th.
I attended the business after hours event yesterday that was held at Avanti Wellness & Rehabilitation, formerly known as Forest Villa Nursing Center. It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting some new people as well.
Avanti Wellness & Rehabilitation is the first skilled nursing facility to receive Joint Commission for Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Wound Care. They also have an innovative pulmonary rehabilitation program with respiratory therapy, a pulmonologist on site, and on-site dialysis. They offer physical, occupational, and speech therapies 7 days a week.
The staff and the residents have been waiting for the construction to be over and the end is near. They expect all the renovations to be completed by early September. From what we can see so far, the facility is going to be beautiful! They have a great therapy section, a new spa, and are building a serene common area for residents to spend some quiet time with other residents and branch out from their individual rooms. The rooms are either private or semi-private. The semi-private rooms hold 2 beds and were converted from 4 beds so they are more like large suites.
