Annual Easter Seal’s Golf Outing at the Grand Geneva Resort
Steve and I attended the annual Easter Seal’s Golf Outing at the Grand Geneva Resort last weekend. This annual fundraising event raised money for Children with Autism. The money raised, helps fund therapeutic schools and supplies needed for these children. This funding supports the many programs in the Chicagoland area. Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago serves nearly 30,000 clients with disabilities and special needs.
Founder/Owner at Companion Services of America
Jamie Shapiro, founder of Companion Services of America, LLC received a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. Jamie started her career in psychiatric social work at Northwestern University Institute of Psychiatry. Later, she went on to become the Director of Social Services at Belmont Community Hospital where she developed discharge planning procedures to assist staff in identifying potential patients requiring intervention.
